Marketing executive George May came up with the idea of feeding Viagra to oysters after he underwent surgery for prostate cancer.A common side effect of prostate cancer surgery is impotence. Following the operation, his doctor prescribed a low dose of Viagra to assist with his recovery.
The 59-year-old from Brisbane Waters initially crushed the tablets and sprinkled them on his oysters, hoping the combination would somehow fast track his return to normality. An idea was born, and Mr May approached struggling oyster farmers Royden Whitten and Barry Lambert to discuss whether it was possible to feed Viagra to growing oysters.
While the research and development of their product is still in its early stages, the NSW food authority says it's unlikely Viagra Oysters will be approved for sale in Australia. Viagra is a prescription drug and therefore oysters containing traces of the drug would not be permitted for general sale.

Brand + Carbon
One effective way we can combat greenhouse gas emissions is to plant trees. Trees absorb carbon dioxide while they grow and trap it for years to come. On average, over 30 years, a tree planted in Australia will absorb 230kg of CO2. Trees also help to combat salinity, reduce soil erosion, clean underground water systems and provide habitat for wildlife.

"We have been having unusually hot weather here lately but, all the same, we can't have this," a spokesman for police in the southern city of Nuremberg said Tuesday. "The man said he thought walking around naked was tolerated in Germany."
Many Germans enjoy nude sunbathing which is allowed in public parks. The 41-year-old was carrying his clothes in a bag when police stopped him Monday evening after complaints from pedestrians.
The tourist was not under the influence of drugs, said police. They made him get dressed and pay a 200 euro ($269) deposit pending his investigation for indecent behavior.

The classic one-night stand can take on considerably more permanent status if it leads to the patter of tiny feet. And while the birth of a baby is cause for celebration, it may not elicit such a warm response in a man whose parting words were "I'll call you".
Apart from the emotional ramifications of sharing a lifetime of parenting with someone whose name you barely remember, it can also mean paying 18 years of child support. The fact that the baby is the result of a drunken quickie offers the father no escape from his fiscal responsibilities.
In Australia, child support is administered by the federal Child Support Agency (CSA). Based on the CSA's 2007 calculator (at www.csa.gov.au) a man earning $60,000 annually can be liable to pay as much as $8164 each year in child maintenance. And there's no easy way out of it. The CSA is linked to the Australian Tax Office, so outstanding child support can be garnisheed from wages or taken from a tax refund. Even bankruptcy won't clear the slate, as unpaid child support is one of the few debts that remain payable by bankrupts.
The only route open to a man in this position is to hope the child is not his. According to CSA's Assistant General Manager, David Mole, "A person is considered to be the child's parent and therefore required to pay child support if they:
- are named on the child's birth certificate
- were married to the mother when the child was born
- cohabited with the mother during the presumed period of conception
- legally adopted the child
- have a statutory declaration acknowledging they are the parent, or
- have a court order which states they are the parent".
Before heading off to a budget-busting meeting with his solicitors, our dad-in-denial can check to confirm whether or not the child is his. For about $295 it's possible to buy a do-it-yourself DNA kit that will indicate whether the father and baby share the same gene pool.
These kits, which involve a painless inner-cheek swab from both the man and child, can be ordered online through websites like the UK-based www.dnabioservices.com, Canada's www.genetrack.com and www.dnasolutions.com.au.
These tests provide a high level of genetic certainty but they won't cut the mustard in court. When it comes to removing child support liability, the Family Court only accepts DNA samples taken under medical supervision from all three parties — mother, child and suspected father. These tests cost upwards of $900.
Two decades of child support versus a fortune in DNA tests? It makes $10 for a designer tin of rubbers look like a very good investment indeed! Stay tuned to find out where to go!

Brand + Reputation
Another shift has been organizations coming to embrace themselves as brands. For example, the university one attends, or the organizations one affiliates are increasingly recognizable and monetizable. Knowing that someone attended a certain college, or is affiliated with certain brands conveys all sorts of ethnic and class related information. Globalization has further complicated branding due to differences in cultural and geographic interpretations.
Brand Reputation is community driven. Its appeal is often on a more human or emotional level and is acted out through user-engagement. It is greatly enhanced by the interactions of community members with the brand itself and by community members interacting with other community members.

A bloke by the name of Jon Yeo has created a wonderfully inspirational blog on LOA, otherwise know as the Law of Attraction. In actual fact, "The Secret" (both book and movie) is based on the LOA and Jon ties it all together in his blog with the SGR Program, and is a must see!
And there are not words in my caliber that will suffice, so we finish on a quote from the ever inspirational Johan Wolfgang von Goethe... 'What you can do or think you can, begin it - boldness has genius, power and magic in it!'
So stroll on down to http://jointhesecret.blogspot.com, or just do as you usually do and just click on the heading to be redirected.

Without a list, you have no one to speak to. When you have no one to speak to, you have no one to promote to. It all starts with the list. It's a marketing FACT that to increase sales & traffic for your business, you need access to a large number of prospects.
While many spend hundreds of dollars every month advertising to targeted opt-in lists, we can show you how to do it for FREE and even experience better results! How? Well the answer is simple and it all starts by building your own social network.
It's been proven that having your own network of prospects will yield much better responses from your advertising than the traditional opt-in list. The personal approach in social networks is more interactive, as a result produces much more responses then any opt-in list.
Ultimately social networks allow you to build relations and trust with your prospects directly. Sit back and watch your network grow virally at warp speed as social networks create viral marketing in the most human contagious form. Just click heading and start building.

Brand + Coaching
Coaching does not include the given solution for the problem but will energize the coachee to solve the problem. Typically, a coach helps clients to find their own solutions, by asking questions that give them insight into their situations. A coach holds a client accountable, so if a client agrees to a plan to achieve a goal, a coach will help motivate them to complete their plan.
Having studied The Science of Getting Rich for more than a quarter of a century, Bob Proctor knows that this little book is THE primary "How to Manual" for changing your entire life. The book's author, Wallace Wattles, is focused on instructing you toward the fast and sure development of monetary wealth, and that's an aspect of life you probably wouldn't mind vastly improving!
The Secret movie was a manifestation of this very same book.
Now, Bob Proctor has volunteered to coach you weekly on The Science of Getting Rich (SGR), providing added wisdom and insight from 40 years of coaching people around the world. By becoming a member, you have access to these weekly coaching calls with Bob Proctor.

Wouldn't you agree that people today are looking to find their own answers, their own truth, their own solutions? In all areas of life? Brand + Gratitude
Because of this apparent connection between wealth and gratitude, many so-called wealth experts suggest that if you want to increase your wealth, you should focus on being more grateful. This sounds pretty good on the surface and meshes well with the Law of Attraction. The idea is that by feeling more grateful, you’ll feel more wealthy and thereby attract more abundance into your life.
When you feel grateful for existence itself, you move from doing grateful to being grateful. At this level you finally activate the Law of Attraction because you’re broadcasting gratitude all the time. It becomes part of your identity. Ultimately you attract circumstances that resonate with who you are.
In practical terms as my gratitude has become more unconditional, my life circumstances improve to keep pace. These changes are very noticeable, like increases in my income or seeing my relationship with my kids improve. In keeping with the Law of Attraction, this is to be expected because if I’m grateful for everything in my life in advance, I should attract the circumstances that are congruent with those thoughts and feelings.
To facilitate this life-altering process, (www.gogratitude.com - Just click on the heading) has specially prepared a series of 42 short, inspiring and instructional "knew views on Gratitude" messages which will be delivered straight to your heart, mind and email inbox, one day at a time, over a 42 day period. They've crafted these unique, whole-brained messages to be super easy to digest by appealling to both the left and right brain.

Brand + Viral
You then get a referral url to send traffic to and begin building a downline and traffic. The idea is that once you get enough people signed up they will refer others too and soon there will be thousands who view your website.
So will this kind of traffic work for your site? It definitely can depending on what kind of website you have. Basically this works best with lead generation pages. You probably won't have much luck using direct sales sites.
Even though the quality of traffic will be low using this method I think it's worth taking a look at for many. The more people you can get to see your site the better. The traffic your downline generates is all free traffic.
Another way of looking at it is that the people who see your site using this technique are also webmasters like you and if they like your site they just might link to it, or better yet signup.
Oh and one more thing, if you click on the heading of this post it will take you to a great website that allows you to do this. Better yet, once you register, you can upgrade for free to get $5 worth of banner ads equating to 15,000 impressions... Couldn't be a bad place to start!

Brand + Affiliates
Well, there are multiple levels of affiliates and referrals. When a given affiliate has reached the maximum number of referrals they can refer, any "spillovers" will be placed as a referral for this affiliate's first referral.
For example, if affiliates are allowed 3 referrals each and you, as one of the affiliates refers 4 other affiliates - Anna, Bob, Charlie and David. Anna, Bob and Charlie will be placed directly below you in level 1 (or level 2 if you consider yourself level 1). So what happens to David?
David will be placed as a referral made by Anna. Therefore David will be placed in level 2 (or level 3 if you consider yourself level 1). This method helps fill up the chain much faster and allows you to generate the most income from a larger range of referrals. Referrals that you generate for yourself and that are generated for you by the affiliate who referred you.
Normally, typical forced matrix systems are very deep and have a smaller width. If, for example, a matrix is set with a width of 4 and a depth of 8, you have the potential to refer 4 + 16 + 64 + 256 + 1,024 + 4,096 + 16,384 + 65,536 = 87,380 affiliates. And with a forced matrix structure, getting that many referrals is no difficult task.
As a result, you, as an affiliate, are inclined to sign up as there are affiliates before you who will help you develop your downline and fill up your matrix very quickly.

Brand + Vision
Vision is a $50, cottage-industry-spawning, buzzword. But really a vision is simply your mental image of how things could or ought to be. In general this should be fairly high level, so that you don't have lots of visions. If you do, it's fairly likely that what you really have are goals related to a single overarching vision.
One of the necessary conditions for creating a vision of your own is being able—either by virtue of training, natural ability, or time in a position of sufficient seniority—to see the big picture and then to see what's wrong with that picture and imagine how things could be better.

Brand + Jaeger
Although it’s not yet a problem for those of us who dwell in the inner-city, a rather interesting precedent has been set in the regional NSW town of Newcastle, where the local council have made the rather contentious decision to ban bars, clubs and pubs from serving shots. No more Jaeger bombs for our Steel City friends it would seem!
The ban comes in the face of attempts by police and the local council to curb the anti-social behaviour attributed to binge drinking. A recent spate of violent incidents were the catalyst for the prohibition, with Rolly de With of the Newcastle Liquor Accord remarking to news.com.au; “Sure, the vast majority act and drink responsibly and they behave. But there is always the minority who screw it up for the majority.”
Could we potentially see similar rules being put in place in metropolitan areas? Only time will tell. In the interim, perhaps you could sink a shot or two this weekend, in remembrance of Newcastle’s sober party-people.

Venice, California, circa early 1970's, a group of kids rode hand me down clay wheel skateboards, trying to emulate the surf moves of Larry Bertlemann, Buttons and Mark Liddell. They'd speed down the block, bombing the hills and running the stop signs at the bottom with reckless abandon. This group of surf /skate rats soon came to be known as the Zephyr Team. Being poor kids in a mixed ethnic neighborhood made them grow up fast. Low income backgrounds often lead to creativity and ingenuity by necessity.

Brand + Smile
Remember that you always represent someone or something all the time. At the very least, you represent yourself and family name. You quite often represent your company or group. And you need to remember that you always represent God.
The easiest way to put on a good representation for any of the above is by putting a smile on your face. Most people don't remember the majority of what you say, but they will remember the feeling you left them with at the end of whatever it was you were saying.
If you delivered your Pulitzer-prize winning message with a negative tone and frown on your face, people will remember the negative aura but not the real message. However, if you deliver a simple message with a positive attitude and a smile on your face, they will remember that they had a pleasant experience during your presentation and are more likely to remember more.
You, your family, your job, your group and God deserve your very best. Again, the easiest way to deliver your best is to start with a smile on your face. Make someone's day and perform a random act of kindness. Remember to do it with a smile; the person will get even more out of your kindness.

Let me quote Greben, Raltoff and Volnskos, A method of psychiatry, second edition, 1985-via JK: “Such a setting becomes one in which the ordinary pretences and conventions of daily life are suspended. It is a protected place, an operating room of the mind, in which vulnerability and honesty are encouraged. ” That sure sounds like green room time to me-tube riding or surfing as part of the subconscious healing process.
The Celibate Rifles articulate the relaxed simplicity of the surfing lifestyle perfectly in their song Tubular Greens, “All you need is a friend and a beach to be free, don’t need to have money to surf right in.” You know the deal - a couple hours of free time and you’re out their, man versus nature’s elements. You immerse yourself in the water, leaving all your general concerns on land, catch a bunch of waves and usually return to shore stress free and on a natural high.

With the fast pace of society and our daily multitasking, we are already running on adrenaline for much of the time. This adrenaline can provide us with needed energy, but adrenaline is a result of stress, and our bodies were not designed to sustain those levels on a regular basis.
When a real emergency occurs, how do you cope if you are already stretched to the limit? The key is to cut the amount of daily stress by developing processes that limit your need to multitask, while improving both your concentration and productivity.

Brand + Value
When you've decided on your offer, run it through this checklist to make sure it is as effective as it can be...
Does your offer have a high perceived value? "Perceived" is the key word here. The good news is that an effective offer doesn't have to cost much at all. It just has to be something of value to your audience. If you are a professional dog trainer and send an email to your list of people who each just got a new puppy, a valuable offer would be the downloadable article, "How to Train Your New Puppy."
Is your offer easy to understand and take action on? Have you gotten a direct mail piece or an email that had an offer that was so involved, so convoluted, that you just said, "forget it!"? You don't want people to be overwhelmed and forget your offer. Make it simple. Don't add a lot of conditions or steps. If you can, stick with one step...call this number, click here to download this whitepaper, type in this discount code, or register here.
Is your offer relevant to the product, service, or event you are promoting? A great offer isn't just good for the person who receives it; it's good for your business or organization too! Especially in the case of lead generation, you want your offer to tie into the product you're selling, event you're promoting, or service you're providing. That way, it will help advance the sale, or—better yet—inspire your audience to take immediate action. A white paper or a "10 tips" list are both great examples of this. They keep your reader focused on areas in which you are an expert and can be of further help to them.
Brand + Arouse
What does it mean for a goal to inspire you? It means when you think of your goal as if it were already here, it feels so incredibly appealing that you have an almost sexual attraction to it. The thought of your goal being achieved is downright arousing, and you experience a biological response to that effect.
When you’re sexually aroused, you feel a compulsion to take some kind of action. Your hormones take over, and you become incredibly focused and can’t think about anything but the object of your desire. This is what it feels like to be driven by a goal that really inspires you. It’s a magnificent obsession; even daydreaming about it is a delightful, energy-building experience. There’s a pleasant feeling of tension that drives you onward towards release.
Even though you may face some challenges and resistance along the way, they don’t phase you because overcoming them is a pleasurable experience when you’re aroused. Pursuing your goals is like practicing the art of seduction. You don’t whine about the problems you encounter because overcoming them only heightens your pleasure. If a problem knocks you back, you may be temporarily frustrated, but in the long run it just makes the pursuit that much more exciting and the reward that much greater.

Brand + Value
Finding your value propositions in the midst of identifying your core competence can become quite difficult. A widget is a widget no matter where you buy it. Isn't it? Why should the customer pay more to buy it from you? That's the critical question. What value do you provide that makes your widget different, your company different, you personally different? If the answer to those questions solve a problem for your customer, create opportunity for profit for your customer or provides improved efficiencies then you may have found your value proposition.
Put some real thought into what you are actually doing for your customers. A fellow NSA colleague likes to say "Kodak doesn't sell film – they sell magic moments and BMW doesn't sell cars – you buy a "Driving Experience". You need to think about your business and what you really do for your customers in those terms.

Boiled down to its basics, WOMM targets the customer's experience rather than the brand's message. Those experiences range from their opinion of the products themselves, to how friendly (or not) the person who answers the phone at your company's headquarters is. It argues that through WOM, a brand's reputation can be made or unmade, because people trust WOM more than they do advertising and traditional marketing.
