At times it can seem like the world is covered in posters telling us to use condoms. Whether they’re on the toilet door, in your favourite bar, or plastered across a wall down the street, it can seem like you’re being told to do something that seems like common sense anyway. Condoms not only prevent pregnancy, they are also the ONLY way to protect yourself from becoming infected with a sexually transmitted infection (STI). There’s no two ways about it – STI’s are nasty, and infections like chlamydia and herpes aren’t curable, which means they’re with you for life.
